Snæfellsnes Peninsula - by Air and Sea
A tour of the legendary Snæfellsnes glacier and surrounding peninsula.
This
tour takes you over the majestic Snæfellsnes glacier (starting point of
Jules Verne’s Journey to the Centre of the Earth), the stark beauty of the
peninsula’s barren coastline and the islands of Breidafjörður Bay. We then
take a boat trip from the town of Stykkishólmur to bring us up close to the
birds and other wildlife on the islands. During the trip we snack on fresh
seafood caught on the journey; there’s nothing tastier!
