Fully experience all the things this Eurovision town has to offer
We plan to take you on a short 50-minute flight from Reykjavík city centre to Húsavik, after which we will embark on a classic Whale Watching tour. We will then visit the Whale Museum, unique in all of Europe, to learn why whales are so gentle. After that, it is finally time for a relaxing lunch in one of our local restaurants or cafés.
Eurovision-The Story of Fire Saga Walking Tour is where our local guide will accompany you to the filming locations of the movie and tell you about the memorable days of shooting in the small town up in north Iceland.
We will visit the harbour and marvel at the beautiful Skjálfandi Bay, 'where the mountains sing through the screams of seagulls', as the locals put it. On our walk, you will learn about the history, culture, folklore and fun facts of our Eurovision hometown and Whale Watching capital of Europe.
To experience the most of Húsavik, you can't miss the wonder of GeoSea. It is not only a world-class geothermal bathing mecca - it is also a unique experience.
After an entertaining day in Húsavík, you will then head back on the flight to Reykjavik.
